Tonight I’m proud to give the world my first music video! I had the honor to work on this music video with the likes of Stat Quo, Bobby Creekwater, and Curtis Young (The Hood Surgeon).

On top of everything, we shot this video with the RED cam. One of the finest cameras in Hollywood today! The RED has been used to shoot such films as: The Social Network, District 9, and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. I’ve been working on music for years and to come this far is nothing short of a blessing! God willing this is the first of many videos that I’ll share with you guys!

Getting this far wasn’t easy, actually, it was damn near impossible. But a few key people helped me along the way. So I just want to take this moment and give a sincere and heartfelt Thank You to: Stat Quo & Rick, Bobby Creekwater & Steve-O, Curtis Young and the Young Entertainment Family, The crew members and everybody who worked on the set, my stylist Neelika, Jafet Huerta, Digital Cool productions, Clayton Spinney from Barnyard Studios, RawKey and Pappa Artwork!

Asoka PSA: Good Times Music Video!

Over the last few months I’ve been flooded with questions about the music video I shot over the summer. The fact of the matter is there were a lot of issues and due to the laziness of certain individuals, the video was delayed. I’ll go into detail next week.

For now I’m proud to announce that the music video for my song “GOOD TIMES”  Co-Starring Stat Quo, Bobby Creekwater and Curtis Young aka The Hood Surgeon will be released next week on January 11th 2011! So check out the commercial and spread the word!

Here is part two of the behind the scenes footage from my music video Good Times! I gotta give mad love and respect to Stat Quo and Bobby Creekwater for coming through! They were working on Detox with Dr. Dre, Timbaland, and P. Diddy that weekend AND on top of that it was Stat’s Birthday that day.

So for them to take the time out during that weekend, on that particular day, just to support my music. That really meant a lot to me.
